You are invited to stop by the library during the month of July to visit a unique exhibit. "Altered Books" is the result of some very creative young people who were enrolled in the recent OSUM Kids' College workshop of the same name. Taught by Anne Quilter, Marion City Schools art teacher, 11 children, ranging in age from 8-13, spent three days learning new ways to reuse books.
Stop by and see how they recycled or "altered" old books into something more interesting and eye-catching. Several children of our campus faculty and staff have items on display.
The exhibit is located just inside the library entrance. Please take a few minutes to come and visit.
